Table of Weird Occupations and starting package

As a teaser for my current RPG project "Weird Sorcery", here is a table of weird occupations and starting package.

I tried to convey as much flavor as possible through items and occupation names.

Many adventurers underestimate the value of versatile tools and resort to vulgar murderous weapons.



Choose or roll 1d20:

  2. Guardian Gravedigger: sharp shovel, hand of glory, hammer and nails

  3. Selvedge Sentry: bow, hound, bear trap

  4. Swamp Guide: cutlass, pole, waterproof coat

  5. Mountain Champion: granite gauntlets, hammer and chisel, 15m of rope

  6. Itinerant Augur: slingshot, oracular knucklebones, long sight

  7. Mycologist Druid: mossy club, hallucinogenic spores, medicinal mushrooms

  8. Timber Knight: two-handed axe, lichen armor, tamed fox

  9. Lightning Caller: iron staff, 3m chain, generator relic

  10. Noctambulist Harvester: sickle, oil lamp, large jute bag

  11. Reckless Beekeeper: claw pole, portable beehive (3 giant bees), smoke bombs

  12. Mortuary Priest: ceremonial scythe, reanimation salts, talking skull

  13. Firebug Alchemist: 3 flasks of wildfire, mortar and pestle, bag of black powder

  14. Bear Trainer: whip, honey pot, semi-trained bear

  15. Dowser Prospector: pickaxe, hydrological maps, magnifying glass

  16. Destitute Noble: rapier, family signet ring, loyal servant

  17. Veteran Mercenary: crossbow, chain mail, scars and related stories

  18. Bounty Hunter: flail, scary mask, handcuffs (3)

  19. Silk Merchant: sharpened axe, spools of giant spider silk, purse of gold coins

  20. Wyvern Roaster: tenderizing hammer, fireproof scale cloak, kitchen set
